What it costs to sell on ShopBroker
Listing is free. When something sells through secure online payment, our service fee of 10% comes out of the sale. Our fee includes HST, so no tax is added on top of it.
Sale price $100.00. Our service fee $10.00. You keep after our service fee on Stripe $90.00.
Stripe example at the standard service fee. Delivery and other applicable fees are separate.
Buyers pay the price you set, plus delivery when they pick it.
A fee discount that renews
Your fee discount renews as you keep selling.
- Silver: Up to 15% off our fee
- Gold: Up to 30% off our fee
- Platinum: Up to 60% off our fee
Your discount is based on your completed sales over the last 90 days.
We work it out again each month, so it renews as you keep selling.
BrokerBucks lower your service fees
BrokerBucks are credits that reduce your service fees when you sell.
Each month, qualifying sellers share 10% of our service fee revenue as BrokerBucks.
Calculated from service fees billed, after tier discounts and before BrokerBucks are applied.
To qualify, complete at least one sale and at least $200 in completed-sale value in your market that calendar month, with active payouts. Your share depends on your completed sales in your market. The pool can be $0. Issued as fee credits once the month’s share is finalized.
Earn BrokerBucks by referring friends
Up to $25 in BrokerBucks. For each friend who joins with your link:
- $10 when they set up PayPal or Stripe to get paid
- $15 when they complete their first purchase or sale
The two rewards are independent. Buyers can refer friends too; your credits reduce fees when you sell.
Joining alone earns no reward. Self-referrals are excluded. Referral rewards are capped at $1,500 per rolling 90 days.
