This pilot is the first step toward one marketplace where shoppers in Toronto and the GTA find and support Canadian-owned businesses like yours. Anyone who buys checks out on your own Shopify store, and we only collect our fee when ShopBroker refers a paid sale. We're a small business built in the GTA, not a giant corporation.

Is the pilot a fit?
The pilot is for Ontario businesses whose main owner lives in Canada, with a Shopify store and stock in Toronto and the GTA. We review each merchant and their products before admission.
What to have ready
- Access to your Shopify store to install the app.
- Your business and contact details, and information about your products.
- Your business number and GST/HST registration details for verification inside the app.
Eligibility includes normal GST/HST registration. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee approval.
When applications open
Install
Follow the Install and apply link to the Shopify app listing, then install the app on your store.
Apply inside Shopify
Open Sell on ShopBroker in your Shopify admin, connect your ShopBroker account and submit your merchant application. Marketing consent is optional.
Return for your status
Your application stays pending review while our team assesses it. Reopen the app in Shopify to see your status.
Applying is the first step
Submitting an application does not approve your business, publish listings, start billing or activate your Channel.
If we approve your application, you'll review and accept a separate merchant agreement in the app. Submitting the application does not accept that agreement.
