Built for local commerce in the GTA, with online payment secured at checkout
ShopBroker is a marketplace for buying and selling locally in Toronto and the GTA, with payments handled through PayPal or Stripe. Listing is free, and we take a service fee only when something sells.
Platform features
- Secure online payment. Online payment runs through PayPal or Stripe. It's secured at checkout, before the seller hands anything over.
- ShopBroker Promise. Buyers get a refund if an item arrives damaged or isn't as described. It covers delivered orders of $25 or more paid through secure online payment. In-person pickups and cash or Interac e-Transfer deals aren't covered. We review each claim.
- Courier delivery in the GTA. When a buyer picks delivery, our courier partner, Trexity, collects the item from the seller's door, usually by the next business day. For items up to 35 lbs and 50 x 30 x 30 cm.
- Google Shopping. Eligible listings can appear on Google Shopping, with nothing extra to set up.
- PayPal or Stripe. You choose the payment processor your shop uses.
- Batch upload. Upload up to 25 photos at a time and get draft listings back. You review each one before it goes live.
- Scheduled pickups. Sellers pick the 30-minute windows that work for them, and buyers choose from those. Sellers can choose a police safe-trade zone as the meeting spot.
- Price Genius. Suggests a price for what you're listing. You decide what to list it for.
- Monthly Seller Dividend. Each month, qualifying sellers share 10% of our fees as BrokerBucks. The pool grows with the marketplace. In a slow month it's smaller, and it can be $0.
